Thoughts on recent Who developments
I have mixed feelings about Matt Smith leaving. He's *my* Doctor as I only really started watching (and enjoying) Dr Who with season 5. Amy and Eleven's relationship intrigued enough to try Who again and I was hooked enough to go back and give Ten and Nine another chance.
While I completely understand that it is the nature of Dr Who for the Doctor to change and for Companions to leave, and I had recovered from the departure of the Ponds, I am not quite ready to say goodbye to Eleven.
Season 6 and 7 have had more misses than 5 (which is my golden season) but I still loved it. I don't know how I feel about someone else taking over.... gosh, every who fan faces this at some point, I supposed. *sighs*
