A few weeks ago, during the week after I got back from NZ, I saw a faux fur blanket in at the mall. Its the kinda thing that evokes winter, Game of Thrones, Clan of the Cave Bear, Last of the Breed in my mind and of course, I wanted it. It looked ridicuously cool on the bed in the store but it was also ridicuously expensive. As I was still in my NZ mode of 'no way, its too expensive, everything is too expensive' I prudently walked away. But its been playing on my mind, the way overprice 'want' items do. I consoled myself that it would sell out before I returned to the mall and tried to remove from my mind.
This morning (as its a public holiday in SA) I went shopping, and went into the store where the faux fur thing was and .... it was there O.o = *\o/*
Against every scottish bone in my body, I decided the fates had decreed it necessary... it was still there... and I bought it!! Right now, my bed looks awesome! All furry and bear like and *giggles* I keep giggling every time I see it. Its not even close to being cold enough for the thing, its sure to pick up loads of dust and dirt but *giggles* I love it!
Sometimes, just sometimes, material things are cool. Like new laptops and faux fur blankets. *lol*
