I'm happy that you liked it! :)

I love that the dragons have their own personality and they are likable and non likable with a lot of different opinions. :) I'm really curious what they'll manage to achieve. :)

Oh yeah! I hope Novik eventually writes a modern version of the Temeraire verse so we can see how all the changes in the history we know impacted the world - for better or worse.

Oh, that would be so cool! And, I think, Temeraire could still be alive then! =)

Oh yeah... and he'd have some very firm opinions about stuff by then ;) but would miss Laurence terribly.

Oh yes to both. But it would be interesting to see an older Temeraire and what he thinks of say, people who prefer to fly in planes than with dragons... ;)

But he'd love dragon sized ipads that allow him to surf the web and read and write and argue with mathematicians around the world :)

OMG! This! I can see him "nagging" his current handler to handle the keyboard when the first computers and the internet came up... *__*

Yep. A world wide library would so totally be up his tree. Temeraire may not think much of those new fangled gizmos that fly people around in stuffy tubes, but he sure would like to go to universities, like Oxford and Harvard and lecture and listen in. And he would start/own a publishing company that caters for dragon sized books :)
