Well.. I haven't been to this site since sometime in like... January.. so I suppose it's time for a moderate update.
Rich and Julie have moved to Arizona. I miss them like the devil and I miss David even more. But I'm keeping in touch as best as distance allows. I'm living with Tom and his folks for the moment, and then he, Dana, and I are getting a place at Tom's grandfather's house. We're just waiting for the renovations to take place. We'll all be visiting Rich and Julie, as well.
We're also buying a small ship for bonding and sailing/fishing excursions, as well as a journey I feel a need to take to relax and discover myself.
I quit my job with Keypoint Credit Union / CalLogix last month, and I'm now a Radio Shack employee at Sam's Club, working at the cell phone kiosk. Change of pace, though I regret giving up the banking job a lot. Oh well, things happen.
Since my 21st birthday I developed a heavy drinking problem. I gave up for some time around the Holidays, but then I got back into it. I, with some semi-direct encouragement, have quit again and I'm currently detoxing. I've set for it to be once per month or less as my goal (29/30THS reduction) and I intend to keep on it. Thank you, you were right and I truly appreciate the kick in the ass. I needed it.
Other than that... I bought a Canon EOS Rebel so I've begun photography again, and I've been writing pretty steadily in the last couple of weeks. I'm doing what I can to ressurrect the creativity in me to keep myself occupied.
Also, I've gotten in contact with a great deal of people that I'd either lost touch with or lost favor with and righted things. There are a handful left that I miss very badly and I need to just swallow the pride and get to getting ahold of. I fully intend to. I want at the very least, clear air with everyone I've known in my life.
Anyhow, I think that does it for this evening's update, but I'll be around again.
