Holy shit, dude. Man....I LOVE shopping. Like....you have no clue. Seriously, you have no clue. I believe I have a true obsession.
.....Incase you couldn't tell...I've been Christmas shopping. I started today's round at 8:30ish today and I am just taking a break now haha....I'm almost done...kind of. It didn't seem that long, though. Time literally flies when I'm shopping.
Anyways, OHMAN the other night was so sad and disturbing. NLP (the prod. company I do my shows with) did it's last play at Faith the other night! So, I went, of course. The show was "You're a good man, Charlie Brown" and on the back of the program, it had the headline "Thanks for 40 great shows!" and my name was on there, along with other members. They're moving to another location and still doing their thing (with a new name, too) but it was still "OMGSOSAD"....lol. I cried, like, 5 times hah.
OH! Ok, just so you know for future refference...whenever Julie *points to self* has a feeling about anything or says something, she's pretty much ALWAYS right. Especially when it comes to winners on reality TV shows.
scottage_cheese is up there with me on that one. But that's because we're pretty much the same person...except he's the guy version of me. Anyways, know what I was right about this time?
They offered me the keylink position at Anchor Blue! MY boss said all these nice things to me and announced the news to me. According to my job definition paper and what I was told, a keylink is basically an associate that exceeds their standards that management feels has room to branch out and become a manager. So, when they're promoted to the keylink position....you start learning different things about management and how they do their management thing at Anchor Blue (such as working with the safe, training people, etc) and you apply that knowledge as you go along. It's management before you get the actual title.
So, they'll let you be in charge as much as possible, too.
Also, it doesn't mean I HAVE TO be a manager after I finish training. If either of us feel that I'm not cut out to be a manager, I cas stay a keylink and continue learning or go back to where I am, I guess. Anyways, I didn't give my boss the answer as of if I accept the offer or not, but I am. I think. I just don't want to change store locations.Keep me in your prayers, though, you guys. I am a little scared. I just want to do good.
I found out another girl who has been there a bit longer than me went to my boss and told her she was interested in the keylink, too (She doesn't know about me getting the offer) and that girl told me that our boss basically told her she needs to work harder, show leadership skills, and better people skills.
.....yeah...Psh...forget about ME telling her about me getting promoted now haha. I feel bad. She seems like the type that would take it personal.
.....Well, I better get going now because I have more shopping to do and whatnot. So, bye you guys! Escalators! And have a MERRY CHRISTMAS incase I don't write by then. bye!
-xoxo-
