My knee feels fantastic. Not perfect - it's still a tiny bit tight through the back - but pretty near, and certainly, suddenly so much better. I have a PT appointment on Friday and I need to find some way to really stress test it before then, which will probably involve heavy cutting exercises at one of the nearby pitches, but fingers crossed I'll be back on the pitch come the end of the month.
That said, my uninjured left leg is very stiff through lack of exercise, and at this point probably needs the training more. When I've used it so far it's not caused any problems, but I think I'm probably going to have to be a bit more careful about that one, since it's going to have to go through just as much. Still, I'm so unfit generally at this point that I doubt it's going to be too heavy going to start with. Half a mile in 5 minutes I can do fine, even after a complete PT session, but I don't know whether I have the stamina to even manage a mile yet.
Not much doing otherwise. I went to the Sounders game with Sio's dad on Saturday, which was a good result but not particularly entertaining, and then on Sunday we managed to get out to see the perfectly adequate How To Train Your Dragon. C's still not got the hang of sitting still at the cinema, not helped by his waking up early and not napping (yes, sometimes he still naps, ad thank goodness for that), but he did alright and was highly entertained by sticking his hand in the fountain outside afterwards.
