Red Eye (2005): Entertaining, but predictable Wes Craven thriller with good performances by its leads Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy. Surprisingly short film, too. The credits started rolling at around 1 hr 16 minutes. Rachel McAdams is appealingly convincing as an airplane passenger unwillingly pulled into a plot to assassinate a Homeland Security official. Cillian Murphy is suitably creepy as the villain.
Also, on a Veronica Mars note, Kyle Gallner (Cassidy) was there in a tiny part as an airplane passenger. And on a Buffy the Vampire Slayer note, the film was written by Carl Ellsworth, who penned episode 2.06 "Halloween."
I'd say it's worth a rental.
