Damn, I'm so behind on everything right now...e-mail, LJ, work, housework. But I'm pretty much caught up on my TV shows and I made my very own (not quite complete) Veronica Mars mood theme, so all is not lost. ;)
Wow, two hours of 24 was almost a bit much for me tonight.
Lynn, Lynn, Lynn. I gave him the benefit of the doubt until last week when he went a bit off the deep end, but the absolute stupidest, most idiotic thing he did was not reporting his security card being stolen. I mean, sheesh, at my company we're supposed to report it and get a temp card to get back in the building. And I work for a health insurance company, not a freakin' Counter Terrorist Unit. How did Lynn get back into CTU anyway? Did he have a spare? That part is still really confusing me.
Aaron and Martha. I feel so guilty for thinking mushy thoughts when the First Lady and the Secret Service guy were alone together. Mike was not pleased. Come on, man, she was only holding the guy's hand, thanking him for saving her life.
The Hendersons. I thought for sure that the wife was totally playing Jack - that she knew exactly what her hubby was up to and she was just trying to fool Jack into thinking she was innocent. Boy, I was wrong. So paranoid am I when watching this show. I had to cover my eyes a bit when Jack was threatening to shoot Robocop in the knee cap. Jumped a foot when he shot the wife's leg instead. Damn. What on earth is Henderson covering up? And he's still claiming to be loyal to this country? What the heck is going on now?
Ok, that ending? Almost made me cry. I knew somebody from CTU was going to die tonight, but I was preparing myself for it to be Tony because I knew that would be the most painful. Then, when Curtis was running through the hospital holding the canister of nerve gas that was about to go off...I was positive it was him. But nope. Then the whole craziness with the nerve gas going off in CTU...again, I thought it was going to be Tony, who was stuck in the medical wing, but then they said that room was being sealed. And they're taking Henderson there! Where Tony is! Tony, who has been told that Henderson's partially responsible for Michelle's death! Robocop's in sooooo much trouble when Tony sees him.
Back to the almost crying....Edgar. Chloe. The look on Chloe's face when she realizes he's trapped out there in the room with the gas. And Edgar's look as he spoke his last word, "Chloe." So, so sad.
So now everyone, including Kim and her shrink/boyfriend, are trapped in CTU. Keeping them quite occupied while the terrorists (am I weird for thinking Julian Sands is totally hot right now?) do their dirty business elsewhere.
The promo for next week makes it sound like we're going to lose somebody else at CTU. Is there going to be anyone left for another season?
Oh, and there was an awesome new trailer for X-Men 3 during the show. I am sooo looking forward to this movie. I loved the first two and this one looks fantastic. Kelsey Grammar as Beast looked and sounded spot-on, in my opinion. Ack! Can not wait.
Ooh. And Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire hits DVD tomorrow. Definitely picking it up. I'm doing a marathon of the movies right now. They were such babies in the first one!
