That's right I have finally taken the leap and started my own tumblr. Go check it out, and "follow me" if you are on tumblr as well! I am very new to it and still learning how everything works, so any tips/tutorials/etc. any of you could give me... please do!

2. I would say that the best way of finding people with similar interests would be to check through tags. I don't know how familiar you are with Tumblr, so sorry if you already know this. :) But basically search for anything, like, say... if you're looking for Vampire Diaries, type in 'The Vampire Diaries', or plug it into this url: http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/the+vampire+diaries (obviously change the words depending on what subject you want, haha!)
3. Different people like different things. Most of the people I follow do, like... 80% reblogs, so I know I don't find it annoying at all! I'd say the majority of people on Tumblr consider reblogging the "norm".
4. If you're reblogging (meaning you clicked the reblog button) it will show up and say "reblogged from" blah blah. So you don't really have to do the credit, because it's all traced back to the person. Some people even already have themselves listed as the source. The only time people get mad is if someone saves their graphic to their computer and uploads it themselves, because then there's no way to trace it back to the owner.

1) are people usually picky on tumblr about adding them without asking or introducing yourself ... like I know on livejournal some people get mad about that.
2) If I reblog something should I tag it on my own for my page or do I only need to tag my edits/posts?

1) I know I'm not, personally. If you'd like to, some people appreciate it just for the simple fact that they get to know you better. :) But I think in general people are far less picky than they can be on lj!
2) I normally tag everything. I think it just comes down to personal preference. If you'd like to be able to find posts of yours like, of an animal, then even if you reblog, I would still tag it with "animal" just so you can find it through your own Tumblr. I'm very neat and anal when it comes to my tags, haha!
