My Life On Mars series 2 DVDs came yesterday. Very pretty. Watched the extras, which were very informative and in some cases, quite amusing. Dean Andrews (Ray) looks so strange without the 70's hair and moustache! And so does Liz White (Annie) without the flicky hairdo. But, despite all the amazingness, there is one problem.
In episode 4, the song played as the team were driving to the wasteland was "Lay Down" by The Strawbs - which I know many people loved. But in the DVD, that song has been replaced with another! And I'm quite disappointed. It just doesn't have the same energy as "Lay Down" does and it doesn't seem right with the scenes. So I've decided that any time I want to watch that episode I will watch the video taped version, with "Lay Down". That has quite annoyed me, actually. Anyone else?
