I'm just back from seeing Twilight. I was terrified the movie would ruin the book for me, but I actually really liked it. The cinema was packed and loads of people were quoting bits from the book and explaining things to those who hadn't read the book, which was awesome. If you dislike Twilight, don't bother reading this. I will squee. I really enjoyed it.
> Robert Pattinson took a while to get to grips with Edward, but he got there eventually. When he first talked - when he said "hello" - everyone laughed. It sounded really off, but yeah it got better. He really looked the part - OMG hair!love. I just want to ruffle it! Oh yeah when Edward first walked in every girl in the place either sighed or gasped or just went "OMGYAY!!!" and all the guys (dragged along by their girlfriends, like Deky - "that's two hours of my life I'll never get back!!!") just groaned. Jealous. Totally.
> I don't know if it was meant to be as funny as everyone found it. When Charlie cocked his gun while saying to bring Edward in - that was hilarious. Oh and "are you using protection?" caused a few people to choke on their popcorn.
> I like Bella more in the movie than I do in the book. Except for at the end when she was like "OMG YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE BECAUSE I WILL TURN INTO A DEPRESSED RECLUSE". *sigh*
> The music was pretty awesome. The instrumental stuff was beautiful and Supermassive Black Hole OMGYAY! Had to be some Muse in there like.
> All the Cullens were awesome. Jasper and Alice OMG LOVE.
> When Victoria showed up at the end everyone who hasn't read the books was all OMG FOREBODING!!! Yeah she's not even in New Moon (is she? So long since I read it!) so they must really be planning to make all of them.
Oh and there were new Star Trek and Watchmen trailers which look OMG amazing.
I don't have much time to check the flist because I have to tidy my room for tomorrow, but I'll get round to it on Sunday probably. By then I will be using my new laptop! OMGYAY!
18 tomorrow OMG! =]
