still alive
Sometimes I feel obligated just to write something in here and say I'm still alive.
Then two months goes by and I actually do it.
Note to journal: I live in Portland, OR now and have since mid-August. I had landed a temporary job within 3 weeks of landing here and I'm now in week three of not having a job since that one ran out. Things are more or less pretty good minus not having a job. I have an interview today, though. Hopefully I get the job and start as close to "immediately" as possible. Money's pretty cool. I mean, I don't much care for it specifically, but having it lets me go do cool things in a town that has reached critical mass with bums.
I'll be in Seattle this weekend for Freak Night 13 apparently on one of the headliners' guest lists (thanks, Jeremy).
November 5th the residents of PDXHaus (Sean, Brandon, and myself) will be seeing Ozomatli at the Crystal Ballroom. Ozomatli has an amazing live show and I can't wait for this.
p.s. that "detect" option using Google Gears for location is creepy as fuck
