given enough time to make a fair assesment of my classes, here's what came of it:

Psych 1: an incredibly simple class taught in a ridiculously complex way. our prof is a genius and close to being insane. the reading and the lectures have nothing to do with each other and a good majority of the people taking the class don't understand a damn thing. it took me a while to understand just what the hell he was talking about. how to explain his teaching style?..think einstein..on speed....

Classics 10A: a class on greek literature. pretty interesting, although there are 11 books for the class, so the reading gets a bit heavy. i like the teacher for it, she's bulgarian and has a different view on everything. although, as someone pointed out to me, talking about the people in the class, "wow, they're not the sharpest knives in the drawer." i think they rounded up everyone that can't form a coherent thought, has no original ideas, and spews back whatever the teacher says. THEY TALK LIKE THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY

Math 1B: the continuation of AP calc AB and BC..it's math man, that's all i need. i likee math. although i don't like how it's taught, i still enjoy it. in office hours there's always this one whiny bitch that takes up all his time tho, it sucks.

english 1B: a potentially good class taught by a crazy old hippie woman who makes all who embrace formal prose as a means of self-expression cringe. when she said that using "i" and "we" was ok, a small part of me died. oh what is to become of the glorious english language??
