Wee, this not having debt thing is fun! Especially still with 2 jobs. I'm buying hobby stuff left, right and center!
First was the wheel, then in random order was 2 lbs of fiber (turned out not as nice as I hoped), a few knitting needles, a few skeins of yarn, and a keyboard tray for my computer (least I can claim that on taxes). Orders I'm still waiting for is another 3 lbs of fiber, a 16" Kromski Harp rigid heddle loom, anotehr 12 oz of fiber today, and I'm inquiring about a drum carder, and next week I'm buying an extra 2 bobbins for the wheel, and 500 texsolv heddles for the table loom (I'm finally going to weave on the thing! I've only had it about 7 years).
After that, I'm going to stop, though. Had my fun, but soon it's back to putting money away towards a car, and eventually towards a better place to live. And hopefully around the end of the year, I can quit (or take a long break from, if they'll let me) the second job, and have time to myself again! I might finally see the outdoors again ;)
Pics of some things will be forthcoming, though a lot of the spinning stuff will be over on my blog (yeah, I have one, sadly neglected, I'm trying to get back to it) over at
