Now just my wallet hurts...
Holy budget, batman!
He was running a half hour late, and for 10 minutes in the chair, him shoving a temporary filling in there, scraping it into a rough tooth shape, and putting UV light on it, cost me $175!!! Now I know why I go to Dal Dental... all the fancy digital stuff was impressive, and the staff/dentist were really nice, and I got a bottle of water, and there were snacks and comfy couches and a really cool color-shifting light wall... but at Dal, it probably would have cost me 45 or so.
Needless to say, I'm going to Dal in the next week or two to get something a bit more stable put in, until I can get the crown. Which comes after I get my lower wisdom teeth out, which happens as soon as I get about $230 to afford that. :P Damn mouth.
In other news, I've had 3 different people ask me about the socks I'm knitting for mom. One lady on the bus home today, actually made me go 2 stops past where I wanted to get off cause I grabbed her #... she was inquiring about buying a pair... but I didn't have time to give her a ballpark price. I imagine she'll back off then, cause I wouldn't let a pair go for anything under 50, and even that's cheating my labor. The yarn for these socks was $36 US, which was more than our dollar when I bought this particular yarn.
Speaking of yarn, I still haven't gotten the yarn I ordered back on Oct 30... I hope customs hasn't held it up for some unknown reason.
Now it's time to pack for the weekend, and maybe even get to bed a bit earlier than usual. I could definitely use it... been waking up a half hour before my alarm this week, it's highly annoying.
