My, how plans change...
Well!! As mentioned Monday night, I had yesterday off on vacation since we're almost caught up completely at work. Conn and I went to Martinique, got rained on once we hit almost the far end of the beach, go figure, but still had fun. Went to Mexico Lindo's, wasn't what he was expecting, but was still good.
Today I go to work, and around 11 the manager puts out an email saying since we're still almost caught up (we're within 3 hours, which is insane), that if anyone wants vacation for the rest of this week, put in for it. I luckily opened my email not 2 minutes after this was sent, so I put in for thursday and friday. I mentioned it to the other girls in the office, and they said to ask for the rest of today, since I have Conn here at home. So I go to the manager's office, which is all of 5 steps away from ours, and put it to her. I even offered up tomorrow for the rest of today. But she said I could have the rest of the week. :D She even had 2 of the 5 girls in there today stuffing envelopes, as mail is a month behind.
So I got to come home early and surprise Conn (the look on his face was worth it), and we're going to go down and see the Buskers, since I really wanted to see them. Then, we've decided that I'm going to go over to PEI again with him until Sunday, and I hope to catch either the bus or a shuttle home.
This is just too good a chance to pass up to get over his side again. :) Someone out there likes me this week :D I'm even going to put my work from the old job onto a CD and work on it while he's at work, so I can get vacation and real work pay :P
So I won't be at practice tomorrow, sorry. E, Hedda said she'd give you linen for me, I'll pick it up Monday night, okay? Can someone pass that along to E, please? Thanks! See yas Monday.
