OMG TEH HEDWURLDS?!

Well, I'll see if I can get anything a little more consistent than what I had before... So before I bombard you with half-finished doodles and lawlpics, I shall go into the rough categories of what may be hitting you! The descriptions are pretty rough-shod, since the worlds are rather convoluted. Feel free to tell me some of them are too dumb to go on. =P

Uumet'kya (graphic novel)
All animals, complex machines and a number of the more-advanced plants in this universe are sentient. The earth (where most of the story takes place) is in the Early Cretaceous period, but they have had contact with a Late Cretaceous Earth and a Holocene Earth, and many of the immigrant animals (ie tyrannosaurids, wolves, Parasaurolophus) have thrived.

Main characters include Tarawyn, a griffin, Sithra, a true-dragon, Yalanara, a Bïrdakuun*, K'hyara, another griffin (but black, much smaller and sneaky!), Waikai, a speed-griffin, Harlketh, a young Tyrannosaurid WITH HORNS, Kay'h, a Pegasi, and Braastïn, a vulpogriff also with horns. They all have nasty curses. ^_^

The world there **mostly** conforms to the laws of physics, insofar as I am an anatomy / paleo geek (archosaurs!) and while I will try my best to make my griffins and dragons and the like skyworthy and well-adapted, I am forced to class this story under Fantasy, as I have a number of metaphysical elements such as souls, gods and Elementals involved. This is mostly explained as there is a lot of 'free energy' in the world that seems to be produced infinitely, albeit at a limited rate. Said energy allows for shapeshifting and 'worldwalking' and is referred to by the inhabitants as Eshi-Na.

Terra (conceptarts)
I really don't know where to place this. This'd be Holocene Earth, in fact modern-day Earth, but follows Uumet'kya's concepts a lot- in fact, certain characters may appear in both places. Mostly deals with a band of misfit Eshi-Na renegades who have no specific plot, but do have some very nice anatomical quandries.

While in the Uumet'kya stuff I may just run with the plot and leave anatomical probability to just making sure everyone's wings are large, the lack of plot here means that this is basically a chance to watch me beat myself with a large stick until something resembling anatomy hits the paper.

Current characters are Ahrala'rn, a rather abberant griffinoid, Yielraae, a bipedal dragon, and Wild, who at various points has been a Deinonychus and a Bitefast*.

The Meddler (graphic novel)
Unofficially entitled 'Dinosaur City' before now, the working title is subject to dramatic fluctuations. Basically, we have anthrosaurs, living human-style lives (in fact, a number of aspects of their culture is my social commentary, so that stays), basically ignoring the existence of skeletal dinosaur vampires that wield purple fire, living-metal non-anthro sentient dinosaurs who also do nasty things with fire, and a non-affiliate category of snarky yellow-eyed anthrosaurs with interesting powers who generally despise each other.

The current working title comes from one of the characters, an irresponsible dragon named Tekka'rain. (note that she is called Tekka'rain Worldwalker, due to the fact that this story steals names and terms from my other stories with alarming abandon). She runs all over the multiverse messing things up, with her brother Harek trying rather wearily to set things right after she leaves and the entire thing she just made collapses into anarchy.

Current characters are Ssireni the Troödon, Kana the Protoceratops, Morsdirki the mercenary Bambiraptor, Tala Goldstone the Pyroraptor Jenkal (living metal-thingy), and the dragons: Tekka'rain, Harek, Wuera and Sarrakk. NOTE: Ssireni's species may change since Troödon is so fragmentary and hard to get decent refs for. >_<

Bionicle (uh...)
is not MY creation and does NOT belong to me. However, I have invented a number of fan-characters, and persist in the abberant desire to attack various legitimate types with anatomy. There is no way, short of three hundred people turning up in my blog to demand NO this instant, that some sketches will not drift in here. You who like neither my attempts at anatomy nor understand Bionicle- just ignore them.

Midnight Black (story) and Demented Fantasy (concepts)
I went through a phase a while back where all I could come up with were crappy working titles, hence "Dinosaur City" and "Midnight Black". Sorry. ^_^;

Anyway, Midnight Black involves a junior high / high school that ended up getting built around a magical vortex by accident. So, basically, attend the school for long enough and you'll turn into something weird, or get snagged by some magical faction**. We have demons singing obscene songs, a were-doberman who despises werewolves as weak, and Gorgonopsid vampires biting random humans to amuse themselves.

Current main characters are: Zana (human-demon), Anaro (half-coyote demon), Bane (demon), Leyla (weredog), Vira (human-vampire) and a number of others who aren't fully formed.

Partially attached to Midnight Black are what I term "demented fantasy", which also extends into other worlds that aren't well-developed. Want to hear a dragon get in a philosophical argument with a rather clueless knight as to whether he does, indeed, deserve to die? Or watch me attempt to figure out how to work harpies or centaurs? What about rat-elves or cockroach fairies?

* there is no way you know what this is without talking to me first.

**there are a lot of these...

Oy! Kat! People! Have I forgotten anything?
