Zombies?
Found this on TheSilverTophat's tumblr.
I've never been a big zombie fan, but I somehow ended up with a world that has zombies (ish) and a character who's basically a permanently half-transformed zombie... so I now have gained an odd liking for at least the zombies in that world.
1. I Am The North - Grand Magus Apparently, over the course of the zombie apocalypse I become as a god unto men. SWEET. "The wolf will rise. The end of lies. Corruption dies. Free forever!"
2. Aigues Mortes - Ataraxia Ah... kind of depressing electronic music? But it means (according to half-assed translation) "Acute Dead" HA. Looks like I'll be settling in to this grimly, but not without hope?
3. Dark Haired Lass / Biddy From Muckross / Sean Macguire's - Altan Upbeat Celtic music. Looks like this is FUN.
4. In A Lifetime - Clannad Ah, wow. Apparently I kill them to save them (from an admittedly horrible fate) in the rain. Interesting. "And as the rain it falls, begin again. Heavy in my heart, as the storm breaks through."
5. Astral Romance - Nightwish Badass astronomers, perhaps? Looks like they ran into me injured, and healed me. Assuming these are sciliorenë, I should be okay as long as I got the cut cleaned out in time. Also an intense love interest develops between me and one of the others. "Macrocosm poured its powers on me, and the hope of the world I now must leave. The nightwish I sent you centuries ago has been heard by those who dwell in woe."
6. The Shadow of the Past - Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings soundtrack) I think I know something about me that my new lover doesn't. Considering this starts off slowly, and then goes into the pounding Mordor Theme... it'll be an interesting relationship.
7. The Gatekeeper - Within Temptation ...this song might even be ABOUT zombies, what the hell? Looks like we've figured out a way to lock all the zombies in another world or something. "One by one, they died. A massacre that took all night. They had no chance, it was no fight. You can't kill what's been killed before. They died..."
8. The Roseville - Altan I think this is even a partying sort of song. Looks like we're getting down to a simple fair of dancing, good food, and a lot of beer to unwind!
9. The Spell - Kamelot Ah, okay. I seem to be taking this pretty well, if by well you mean laughing maniacally and running off to be a necromancer. "Where has all the magic gone, lost behind or lost along? victim of the pulse of our society. Don't you miss the ancient times, the riddles and the subtle signs, relative perspective on reality? I get stronger in the splendor of a lucid moon; I'm a creature of the night. All my demons cast a spell- the souls of dusk rising from the ashes. So the book of shadows tells- the weak will always obey the master."
10. The Black Gate Opens - Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings soundtrack) Yes, you thought it was over, huh? I'm not into this being a movie, but we'll say it marks the ending of the first chapter. This song is rather hopeful, so apparently I'm quite happy with my zombified state, or something... it doesn't really feel zombie-ish, so perhaps I used the sorcery-laced virus to turn myself into something a little less nasty?
Well, that was interesting. I swear I didn't cheat. o_O
