Very glaring white and text. I'll have to figure out how to pretty it up, some, at a later time.
I've written one fanfiction story, The Goodness of Their Hearts. People absolutely hate the title. I was surprised by how much. I guess, looking at it objectively, it is wince-inspiring. The title comes from the phrase, which in the first draft kept popping up. A big theme in the story is the motive people have for the things they do, and they rarely do things out of "the goodness of their hearts." The phrase cropped up too often, so I cut it out, and used it as the title instead.
I've started other stories, but never finished them. If I even do finish one, it'll go here.
For the most part, though, I'll be commenting on the trends I've noticed in Harry Potter fanfiction. Two, in particular, are dark!fic, and the tendency to write chan now that the characters are reaching an age where they might be starting sexual experimentation if they were real people.
The latter, I find particularly interesting. When Harry and co were under fourteen, most stories aged them up. Now that they are becoming adults, chan is becoming much more popular.
