You know your from southern maryland when you...(i did same as michelle...made bold those which i apply to)
-know what a ten ounce bud is, "redneck hand gernade"
-love bonfires every night of the week
-look hot in cowboy hats
-know where Port Tobacco is
-accept the fact that a guy might show up to school with a carcass in the back of their truck on cold days
-you go to the county fair every year, because you have off school for fair day, and like it
-know how to pick our own blue crabs
-can pronounce Nanjemoy and know where the Potomac River is
-know at least one Queen Nicotina or Queen of Tolerance
-have hung out in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant after it closed
-are good at driving wave runners
-have seen at least one corn maze, whether you actually went in it or not
-been to a party broken up by rednecks with shotguns instead of cops
-know at least one person who owns or has owned a liquor store
-know that the best parties are off of dirt roads in the middle of nowhere
-have been part of a beer hiding/retrieving team trekking through the woods
-have had at least one day where you've been on route 4, 5, and 6
-call them da PoePoe’s, not Police
-know Good Charlotte was from LaPlata, and we aren’t proud of it
-know at least half of our friends have wrecked their cars by running into trees
-have seen drunken farm animals
-know someone that accidentally brought a gun, knife, or chainsaw to school
-wanted to drive a tractor in our senior homecoming parade
-say ya’ll and it’s damn cute
-just want to drive a tractor in general
-have been in a go-kart
-have friends whose families cut tobacco for a living
-know more people that chew/dip/smoke tobacco then don’t
-have showed up late for something important, blamed it on getting stuck behind the Amish, and gotten away with it
-might have borrowed a goat for our homecoming float if you went to mcdonough (rams)
-have been cow tipping
-have our boating license and might not know how to get to our friend’s house by car… only boat
-not only know how to get around the county on every back road but know the get around the county on the water too
-if you are tryin to sell your car you put a For Sale sign in the window and park it on the corner of 301 and rt 6 by the KFC
-you were in 4H when you were younger
-you hate Waldorf and anyone from there is a "Waldorf Ricky"
-have driven to Captain Billy's by water
-hate that people are selling their land so they can put up more houses
-still go back to watch your old high school football games
-play in at least one turkey bowl every year
-learn "The Legend of the Blue Dog" in 3rd grade history class.
-women keep their money in their bra's not their purse
-love that liquor stores have drive threw and are open till 2 am.
-can go to Walmart and see people changing their oil in the parking lot.
-know you can buy anything at the farmers market
-Bert's and Twin Kiss have the best ice cream
-the fair has tractor pulls and horse pulls
-know what a SMIB is
