Fun with Spam
Well, just got a piece of Spam in my Inbox. Nothing particularly odd about that. It was even something we have all seen from time to time: the Nigerian scam. But this one was a little different. It was.... in French! Yes, someone (or some bot) out there decided that not only did I need to once again get a laugh out of people trying to bilk me out of my money with an obvious scam and poor grammar, but that they needed to do so in a foreign language that I don't even speak (although I can make out a bit of it since it is a Romance language and I am passable in some of the others). Just thought I'd share the amusement. You may now return to your normally scheduled Friday.
Gah! Stupid LJ servers having issues with letting me post. Couldn't connect to anything that started with www.livejournal.com (main page, posting, help) although individual Member pages and areas seem to be working fine (so I could see and read friends lists, but not post my replies). *sigh* Gotta love technology.
