(no subject)
It's been a while since I've updated, so I feel like doing so now, even if'n I have to be up in less than six hours. Stupid working 'til 11:00 pm and then again at 6:30 am... Oh well. Life's been okay, lately. Been keeping fairly busy, if'n not insanely like I'm used to. It's good, though. And I have three days off this week. Seems that my boss has hired on too many people at the moment, due to vacations that are going to be taking place later in the Summer, so we all get fewer hours as a result. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy only working four days a week, but I have to pay for school in September... Plus I've got two trips in August. It's gonna be an expensive Summer/Fall. :P
Methinks I've come down with bronchitis again, though. That sucks hardcore. I was sitting at my till today, and trying to serve customers, but whenever I'd try and speak I would come down with a terrible coughing fit. It was more annoying than anything, but it got so bad at one point that I nearly threw up in the bathroom. XP It's rather embarrassing when one has to literally run away from their till into the back so that they don't cough all over a customer and their food. Thank god for Tabbi; she supplied me with a package of Halls that kept my throat lubricated for the rest of the night. Still, though, my chest aches and my throat hurts. Stupid bronchitis. :Þ
And, if'n anyone's read this far, just wanna toss a reminder at people for wings on Wednesday. Can folks get back to me? Even if'n it's just on here, I'd really appreciate it. I know there are some people who said they'd be going, but haven't emailed me, and for me to remember I need to have it semi-concrete (i.e. on the Net somewhere).
I'm going to get to see my brother dance tomorrow, which is the first time in a while. I'm looking forward to that.
Another thing I'm enjoying is sequestering myself away some. As much as I love being around people, and I really do, I also love having some alone time. The Summer's good for that. That and moving people. ;) Helping folks move is fun, however backbreaking it can be. :) If'n anyone needs a hand, and it's not on a weekend, I can totally help out. :) Just lemme know.
