'Kay -- it never occurred to me, when I paid money for LJ and all -- that I'd let 3 months go by without a single post. Why has this happened? I am busy, I am tired, and I am lazy. And I can't believe that I have anything to say that anyone would find worth reading.
First issue -- BUSY. Oy. I work in an office that runs two seperate businesses, one of which is all about Snowmobiles. It's cold now -- and some places are already getting snow. So -- busy now.
In fact, since I started typing this, I am on hold for the third time, while reconciling a bank account and hunting down an invoice. 40 more minutes and I am OUTTA HERE! Only to come back tomorrow -- which is payday, so good. But, I do payroll, so -- busy day.
The children's theater I am involved with has two more weeks before performance -- and its coming both too soon and not soon enough. Three plays and one huge musical number, with kids third to 12 grade. Mostly girls. So much drama. And we act, too. :)
My little writing class is going well - we are about to publish our first literary mag for the year -- which remains nameless, 'cuz we are trying to come up with something less silly -- which is hard, as we are a very silly bunch. It takes time, but I love this class so much. Of course, ask me if I feel the same once I'm typing the whole thing up. Anyone out there have a recommendation for software to use in putting a magazine/newsletter together?
Next issue -- TIRED. See above.
Third issue -- LAZY. Can't I just do nothing for five minutes? Please?
Good news, though -- my creative brain is making a reappearance. I'm a little excited about that. Of course, it takes me three months to finish anything, but hey -- it's started! I'm feeling enthusiastic about being a fangirl again.
So, to anyone out there who I haven't said "Hello!" to in a really long while:
Hello! Hope to see more of you soon.
