I don't remember reading this the first time! SO happy I got to read it now. These two, so devious. And all of Jazz's liaisons just cover, in perfect SpecOps fashion! Love it

Very few people *did* read it the first time, judging by the stats. 1readervb totally caught me by surprise asking about it.

This Jazz and Prowl are definitely devious, and Jazz will do anything (anything? pretty much!) to protect their secret.

You would expect me to be annoyed that I found this after reading Chapter 1, since I'm catching up on old journal entries, but I'm not. In fact, I'm stepping up as a reader to tell you that this was waaay more interesting a read after chapter 1 than otherwise, precisely because Jazz did such a very good job with that act with Blaster that I was completely fooled the first time around. Reading this scene in the prologue filled in all the details of exactly what was really going on, and puts a retrospective spin on chapter 1 that intrigues. I think you should consider posting them in the reverse order. Since this whole story is all about lies and secrets and clever misdirection (I assume, given what I've seen so far), it would be fun to do lots of scenes out of chronological order, making the readers guess at what's really going on. It's probably an 11th hour suggestion at this point, but maybe you could work it in somewhere. It would be fun.

Huh. Now that you mention it, I probably could have had it work that way. A bit late now (particularly given that this whole thing is a re-post anyway) but I can see where you're coming from. Well... the sequel has something along those lines, holding the suspense over what's going on, but we have to get to the end of this one first ^_~

As for this story, well there's quite a bit to go, but there will definitely be plenty of misdirection from our black and whites, but whether it will work as well as they hope remains to be seen. ^_^
