Let it Snow
so going home last week for thanksgiving was difficult but fun. i can't believe how much i missed derrick. We talked on the phone a lot. Seeing my family was great. The food was GREAT. Just being in my actual house felt weird. Idk
It was so refreshing to see kristen again. I had fun just talking about our beautiful black men for hours. hehehe.
I'll be home in one week, on december 11, which is earlier than i expected. I'm torn because it means i miss out on spendin a week with derrick without classes but i really want to go home and rest for 3 weeks. I am going home, so i'll see y'all soon.
I'm excited about Emma and Lauren's christmas party!!! Woo Hooo!!
Anyway i have a history final to start working on. That's right it's take home. Four essays, four pages, four days...
Just and update, we had our winter gala last night. It was great. Derrick bought me a dozen pink roses. His tie matched my dress perfectly. I felt amazing, we both looked amazing and i was in general a perfect night.
