WOTTAMOLLA

So I thought I should write about something fun, since my greatest fear is turning into somebody who just talks about work and/or uni, tafe, whatever.

So here is the story of my day at the beach, which happened... last week or something.

Campbell, Rob, Ness and Tara went to the beach.  For some reason, we took Nessa's car, Lilly the Getz, the smallest of all our cars, and piled in.  After buying supplies of chicken, coleslaw and rolls, we went to Wattamolla beach in the National park.  I haven't been to the national park in ages, and I'd never been to Wattamolla, so it was a fun journey.  So anyway, Wottamolla's claim to fame is that it has a lagoon.  Far from being the stagnant cesspit that I associate with the word 'lagoon', it was actually a rather nice, only partially stagnant body of water which was pleasant to swim in.

This is a google map of the place, just for my own interest.  You can see the bay/beach and then the lagoon which encapsulates the sand from behind.  The lagoon looks like it might become a river, but it doesn't.  That would make it a river, not a lagoon.  From down on the ground it looks absolutely gorgeous, I wish we'd had a camera.

Wattamolla's other claim to fame is a large rock which kids can jump off into dubiously shallow water.  We did not jump off the rock.

GG Wattamolla, would go again A++++++++++++++++
