So I promised (in a way) that I would blog about this movie. Heaven knows I've been talking about it a lot... Honestly, it surprises me just how much it has captured my imagination.
So that everyone knows what I'm blathering about,
here's the IMDB page.First off, let me establish clearly, for the record, that I do NOT like gore/slasher/horror

Read your entry. Read your blog. Thought it would be good to respond although, frankly, I've never responded to a blog before, so please be kind...
I too, was at the 7:50p show in Pasadena. You can't know how dissapointing it was to have such a small turn out (especially after the theatre had told many of our friends that the show was sold out!) Everywhere else, the show has not only sold out each night, but has also turned many people away.
To introduce myself, I'm Nancy Long, aka: the voice of Dead Marni (and I sing on every track of the film and score as well...) My wonderful husband is Darren Smith (co- writer/creator and composer of REPO! as you may know) We live in Newport Beach at the Back Bay (off of Eastbluff-- where quite a bit of REPO! was recorded, BTW). It says that you live in Irvine. So perhaps we're neighbors?! Anyway, I digress. Did you stay outside to meet with D and T and DB and sing mix as well, and ... before the 10p show? Did we meet? Anyway, this week has been both so devastatingly painful and wonderfully embracing that our heads keep spinning. Please let me know what you are up to and what you think. Are you a student at UCI? (I'm an alumn). Anyway, thank you for posting and for viewing REPO and for sharing it with others. After, nearly 9 years, it means more to us than you than you can know. If you'd like to meet or chat, or if you have any brilliant ideas for promoting the film et al. please email me at: nancyslk at hotmail dot com
Thanks,
Nancy
(aka Dead Marni)
