Greetings and Salutations!
Welcome to my Journal. Please take note that this is (generally) the ONLY post the public will see, as everything else is Friends-Locked. (The exception will be the occasional limited-time public post directly below this TOJ post.)
I have a lot of friends, mostly people I've met through various renaissance faires, theater groups, and the occasional goth club. I also have friends who are involved in kink and other such things. If you care to join in the fun, please post a comment telling me who you are in real life, how we know each other, and which of my filters you'd prefer to be on. Once you've done that, I'll reply to your comment letting you know I've added you. Then come back here and check the top posts on the page. Depending on what you've signed up for will determine what you'll see. There will be separate posts for "All Friends," "Faire Friends," "Kinky Friends," and "General Life." Each filter has certain requests involved, the most important being confidentiality. I do reserve the right to refuse inclusion on any filter, as I am trying to be cautious these days.

Yes, I'm serious. I've seen way too many of my friends have their journals used against them, sometimes with the result of defamation of character, and sometimes even with financial and employment repercussions. I try not to post crap in my journal that could get me in such trouble, but there are people out there who are capable of twisting my words, as I've discovered.
On a lighter note, please know that I post a lot of faire stories, general chit-chat on life, the occasional rant, and the occasional meme. I try to avoid politics, because I seem to be at the opposite pole from 95% of my friends. We agree to disagree. I love my life and I love love and I love performing, and I think all of those things come through in what I write in my Journal.
