(no subject)
Ok, time to get started for the day.
I've been rather busy recently! Lots of work, usually unappreciated (when will academics learn?), but heh, the weather's been gorgeous and has had me in a fantastic mood for the last week at least.
Even though I'm working almost full time now I've still managed to spend plenty of time outdoors in various forests & fields. I had an impromptu camping trip on Friday night to Lord Stones - it's stunning. I froze all night so didn't get much sleep but the bright sun at silly o'clock on Saturday morning made up for it, as did the company.
We came back on Saturday afternoon as we both had to get back to reality, unfortunately. I went for my new tattoo and bled a lot. A hell of a lot! No idea why as I hadn't been drinking the night before. This one's gonna scab over. My first one didn't at all, there was no blood or scabbing after the initial tattooing. So, silly me thought this one would be the same. Nope. And, excuse the language but, fuck me that hurt!
Today I'm going to go have a shower, bake some cherry & chocolate chip muffins, dye my hair later, try and finish unpacking (after 6 months, I know!) then generally laze about. Yay for Sundays! :D
