taratopher, i think that a great way to get art displayed in a gallery would be to tie the artwork to a brick and throw it through the front window of the gallery with a note attached that says: "i've always wanted to have my artwork in your gallery and now i do. screw all of you snobby, i'm-better-than-everyone-else-because-look-at-me-i-own-an-art-gallery-and-eat-free-range-chicken types." christopher
Oh, yeah, I forgot...this came out really good. I don't post much in my own LJ so I just use other people's LJs to post my rants. It's more fun that way and it also let's me feel that I am the most important person in the world - everyone else already feels this way about me so I may as well deliver, right? Love ya, but I love me even more! XXOOXX
i went to the record store the other day, i wasn't looking for anything particular, just something awesome.
right when i was about to leave, i came across this bin with weird shit in it, all for $0.25. most of it was classical or porter wagner, but i managed to find this old folk sampler. about 75% of the songs are about coal mining, 'dark as a dungeon' being one of them. that's pretty much how this all got started.
