Kmart, Martha Stewart & Christmas Trees...
Kmart is having some great deals on Christmas trees and decor!
Ryan and I went there to get our tree last night. We decided on this one: Aspen Mountain Tree
It is tall and slender and fit well inside our small apartment. It was a toss up between the Aspen and the 4.5- ft. pre- lit Berry Mountain tree that sat inside a decorative box for a stand, which was so incredibly cute but decided it was too short and wouldn't be able to hold all of the ornaments and garland on it. So in the end we went with the taller yet slender realistic looking tree instead of the small one with berries and frost on it.
At first I was kind of bothered by the fact that the majority of the fake trees already had lites on them, but now i've decided that it's a great thing. What a pain in the ass it is to put lights on a tree and then take them off in the end. I guess life is real tough when that's one of your pet peeves! hehe.
OH! And... Does Martha Stewart own half of Kmart? Her name is on practically everything there!
So today when Ezra comes home from school we will decorate! Can't wait!
