What's up wit me....
So I painted 9 renderings for my costume class last night AND made it to bed by 1:30 AM. I am proud of me. The quality, of course, reduced as I went on, but the first 4, the 4 I cared at least a little about, looked pretty good.
Tonight? I have a model to build and instead, here I sit on my computer avoiding work.
At school, we have had 4 faculty people announce that they have found other jobs and are moving on, and another a professor denied tenure. That means that out of about 35 people that are employed in my department or for the tour house that we are attached to 9 people will not be here next year. For those that hate to do math, that's about a quarter of the people that currently work in our building will not be here through the end of the year, including the props supervisor, the paint charge, the TD advisor, my advisor, the costume design professor, and the head of department. Seriously.
Some of them I will not miss (ie the paint charge, who I get along with fine, but I don't like her and I paint better than she does AND I want her to stop arguing with me about how I want to paint things).
That's all.
I'm really gonna miss our prop director, he's my favorite person on the faculty.
