[Somehow, Luke managed to get a hold of some of those "special" mushrooms! It didn't take long before the mushrooms took effect, and suddenly Mayfield went from bright and cheery to bleak, desolate, and run-down. The streets that are usually crowded with drones are now all gone, although Luke can see glimpses of fleeting shadows.

His expression changes and he looks sad for some reason. He didn't want to go in, the place scared him, but what if the Professor was inside? What if he was hurt? It was up to him to help him, right?

[He was glancing around nervously, and Riza was following where he looked. She didn't see anything unusual, which was what triggered her to ask what he was looking for.]
Come. There's a bench. Let's sit down, is that all right?
[She's gotten good at soothing, placating talk, hasn't she?]

And her invitation to the bench, he doesn't see anything wrong with it, so he'll follow her to the bench. He's a bit unsure of this idea, since he does have to find the Professor soon.]
