[If you make your way to the study, Luke, you'll see a man in a loud green suit, hard at work on something big. Big enough that he doesn't notice you come in, at least.]

[He almost heads into the study. At least, until he sees someone else in there. Obviously they must be in on this whole kidnapping plot or whatever this was.

Luke is going to quietly back away and try to find another way out.

Or at least he was, but there seems to be a loud creak as he tries to step back.]

[A creak on the floor? Susan and Slugger always enter the study so quietly. Edward whips around, caught off-guard. Surprised to find someone so young staring back at him.]

[The photos on the wall behind Luke catch his attention as well. The boy's in them, now.]

[Note to self: work on those sneaking skills.

Luke stumbles back, trying to sound braver then he felt.

It wasn't working.]

H-hold it right there! Don't come any closer!

[Rising from his chair, hardly threatened.]

[He takes a few more steps back, looking around nervously.

Of course, just because he's in danger doesn't mean Luke knows when to shut up.]

And how am I supposed to believe that? Are you in on this with Don Paolo? Descole? If the Professor finds out about this...!

[Eddie repeats the names to himself, momentarily confused, before shaking his head.]

Because I'm a prisoner as well. Just as much as you are.

H-huh? What do you mean prisoner?

[He's not as accusing anymore, but he's still wary.]

A good deal of us have been dragged to this town. We come from different times, different places. Sometimes different worlds altogether.

[Luke turns to face the wall, seeing the picture of a happy family. A happy family consisting of Edward, Susan, Slugger, as well as himself.

It was the same picture he saw as he was making his way through the house, and it gives him chills looking at it.]

Ah, I saw it but...I don't understand what we're all doing in there.

Each of us is sorted into these family units, you see. They expect us to play house.

Seriously?! With fake mums and papas and everything? Sounds as though we were kidnapped by a bored little girl or something. Does that make you the "papa" here?

Who is the "they" you mentioned earlier? If I'm going to help investigate for when the Professor gets here, I'm going to need all the information on our suspects!
