Okay Okay Okay...
So - after I posted the little "one word about me" thing, I got a few posts that said "what's this crap? we want to hear about the baby and your husband!" So I guess I'll post about them. (I just want to note, though, that I didn't post much at all before I was a mom, so I don't know why these people think I'm going to post more after becoming a mom. *grin*)
So here's the scoop:
Anthony will be 4 weeks old in TWO DAYS! It's so very hard to believe it's been that long already. Time has flown and one day runs into the next like a bad watercolor. Mostly the little guy just eats, sleeps, poops, pees and screams. Happily, there are actually times when he doesn't do any of those things and he just sits there looking around. And let me say, that is very cool. :) He's got the cutest little smile, and every once in a while, he actually giggles in his sleep. One has to wonder what he's dreaming about that's so funny. :) Probably his (very silly) daddy. :)
Dave's been really awesome with him. He loves to play with him and talk to him. He stays up with Tony at night so I can get a jump on some sleep and then I get up with the kid in the wee hours of the morning. We're really looking forward to the sleeping through the night thing. Right now, it's more of a sleeping through the day thing. We're hoping things turn around soon. :) Anyway... Dave's also still been making dinner, cleaning up when I'm too tired, and spending way more hours than he'd like driving around the state for work. Like I said - he's been really awesome.
So there you have it. Not much else going on in my life except sleep, baby, and watching my husband in awe. :) I guess maybe I'll try to post more often. We'll see. It'll be easier when Tony starts doing things. :)
