Classes at Simmons started less than a week ago and life is already completely crazy. It looks like this is going to be a good semester though.

I'm taking a course on The Bible at Emmanuel with the same professor I had last semester for Catholic Theology. I really like him and the class seems really interesting so far. We have a big research paper due at the end of the semester- the exegesis of a biblical pericope- but I chose a good passage(John 7:53-8:11) and we don't have a final(!)

I'm taking a class at Wheelock this semester too(I'm all about the cross-registering)- Infant and Toddler Behavior and Development. I like the professor and love the material. There's a crazy amount of writing and reading involved(4 papers and a huge group project where we need to put together a 15 page guide for parents) but again, no final exam.

I'm finishing off my PT pre-reqs with 2 science classes at Simmons too. Physics is going to be much much worse than last semester(totally unapplicable to PT) but I like the professor so far. As of now the final exam is scheduled for 6pm(the last time) on the last day of finals. I hate Simmons.

Exercise Phys is my 4th class and it is going to be amazing. I'm completely obsessed with Professor Lite and the material looks really interesting. That class also doesn't have a final, but a big research project. I've been looking up articles already and I'm definitely going to do something about dance in relation to exercise phys. Kind of really excited actually.

Working at the daycare, but they keep screwing me over. I miss my daycare at home. I might be tutoring as well, but I'm not giving tours anymore(craziness last semester).

Dance is going to be good I think- a couple of our girls who were abroad last semester are back so that's happy. I'm not choreographing for tap for the first time- I'm a little sad but definitely did not need that stress this semester. Modern/lyrical/COF should all be good too. We really need to have some logistics discussions though as the simmons team gets bigger...its just not working like it used to.

My New Years Resolutions are as follows:
1. No drama. the end.
2. Have more fun/ be more social. I failed on this one once already, but I'm recommitted.
3. Get more independant.
4. Be more politically aware. I've been doing good on this one! I've read a bunch of articles to figure out who to vote for, and I even watched the State of the Union last night(*less than 1 year, less than 1 year, less than 1 year...*)
5. Eliminate butter from my diet. Weird heart things= no more butter. Just in case.

I'm totally stressed about my living arrangements for summer/next year. In short:
Sublet? On-campus? Money, time, location, roommates...
Apartment? On-campus? Money, location, RA, guilt, love, trip, indecisive, effort, fun, roommates, options, parents...
Too much to think and worry about.

That's all for now I guess. I'm going to try to update more, but I always say that and I never do so we'll see. Super excited for Brigadoon and the competition this weekend! Oh, and my sister is going to Westfield officially! yay! So cute.
