Episode IV: A New Hope...
I booked new tickets!!
They are not as good as the last ones... but hopefully they will work. Now I'm not flying out until May 16th. Which is rather unfortunate because the conference I'm going to down there starts on May 17th! A wee bit tight. But that's the best I could do because the stupid consolate is so slow!! Today was another crazy day of running around and trying to get stuff sorted out. My phone bill this month is going to be nuts... But I booked the tickets and send of visa application version 2.0 so I just have to sit and wait and hope that everything is ok. I was so exhausted that when I got home I fell asleep for 3 hours on the couch. Wow, did I ever need that!
Tomorrow I'm going home for Easter. It'll be nice to go home for a bit. Though now I will have a whole 3 weeks there before I go.. Anyways, tonight Bonnie and I made Easter eggs! I had never done this before (at least not this method) so it was a lot of fun. Here's a pic, I think they turned out pretty well!
