Some relaxation.
This planet has its quirks, but they're pleasant ones none the less. Nearly everything is living, everything here is... SO bright and colorful, it's almost like a living rainbow--which to a sense is a little fruity-sounding, but it's all in truth. So many colors, so many bright but interesting things... Like these living shoes, for instance.
Yes, I know a good few of us had to sacrifice our awesome footwear--but for a good reason. We get a ship to go home in, and for a bargain of a deal! I wish earth had intrest in barter like that... Shoes!
AS a replacement for the footwear, some of us got these weird little blobby things to put over our feet. Oh goodness, it was great with a few of the reactions some of the team let out! I won't lie and say I wasn't a little "AUUUGH!" when I put them on, but I think I got my biggest kicks out of hearing Crystal shriek and say " MY FOOT! IT'S TRYING TO EAT MY FOOT!" Heheheh, ohhhhh... Yeah. Good times, good times. *adds entry to memories*
Anyways... After getting a GOOD nights sleep last night (with the aid of the living bedsheets..), and a good refreshing shower... Today has been full of nothing but exploration of this civilization. I started out wandering alone, catching eye to a few people enjoying a drink; then I ran into Pan and Videl who were checking out some of the foos stands. Well, I think it was food, I don't really know. The guy was selling these weird looking clearish multi-colored... Orb things. They kinda looked like the shoes, before they mold over your feet. Blobby, but clear.
Anyways, Pan and Videl bought some, and heck, I did too just because those things looked WICKED neat. After getting them, the three of us just kinda looked at one another, seeing who would try one of them first. And about after a minute or two of doing THAT, Videl says, "So come on Tap, you try it first!". I tell her 'no', then point to Pan and tell her to try it first. She points to her mother, and says she should try it. This went on for a bit until a little voice chirps from behind, "Why don't all three of you just try it all at once?"
The voice of reason for us-- tadah-- was Crystal.
Needless to say, after that we all just took a bite out of the little blob things. I'm telling you all right now, those things make the BIGGEST mess, but they're so good it's worth the little clean-up. They tasted like... Like some sort of fruit juice, but the kind of fruit juice that has all that artificial sugar and whatever added into it to make it taste extra sweet and stuff-- but in this case, the flavor was natural.
Crystal got on my back about eating like a slob, and while I tried to convince her I didn't MEAN to get all that.. Uh, blob on my face, she thought I was just over-emphasising on the nature of the stuff. So, I let her have a bite out of it, and she was afterwards convinced that the food was messy afterall.
After that little ordeal, Pan and Videl went off elsewhere, and so Crystal and I just decided to walk around for a bit. Heheh, we had a little fun with our shoes-- you know that little sound they make when you walk, that sort of sounds like your stomping on a cat? Yeah... I don't know why, but I just get the biggest kick of my immature life hearing that sound. Well, when I actually start paying attention to it anyways, depending on the mood.
Anyways, we were walking through the bazzar (?) and I guess something spotted Crystals intrest. So she started running up ahead.. And I just started LISTENING to the sound of her shoes as she ran-- a really fast, really short-drawn "EIEIEIEI!". You're probably all thinking I'm the biggest retard for finding this funny, but.. I just DID for some reason! It was probably the visual I had running through my mind as she did it...
A street covered in cats, and Crystal trampling all over them with this evil grin on her face that just screams, "LOOK AT ME! I'M STOMPING ON KITTIES! Hahahaha!" (although we all know she wouldn't do that...>:p)
Well... we had our fun, and then we decided to get a rest on of the lesser-populated area's. And that's where I am now, just sitting here on a hill, looking a little bit ways down to the town/village/city, and keeping an eye on Crystal while she sleeps. Atleast, I think she's sleeping. Oo
Tomorrow we leave this place.. Which is sort of a pity, because I really DO like it here.
I'm sort of curious if they'll want these shoes back though...
