I love just how gullable children are. Not to mean that in a bad way, but really, there are just so many things you can do with children to make them believe that.. well, fantasy exists, and that's always a good thing, to see kids with some imagination.
Such as this morning at the dojo-- I think it was around the time when all the kids were getting really drowzy and sleepy, and
Crystal (as well as myself) were setting them all down to 'meditate' *cough* SLEEP *cough*
And, it was around that time that one of the girls --Ari-- had scuffled her hands into my bag full of STUFF (mostly little kids toys.. HOtwheels, blocks, ect) and caught onto the bottle of bubble-stuff I had hidden in there. Of course I caught her with the solution, and I took it from her and asked if she would join the other kids while they 'meditated'. But, she neglected, and told us both that she couldn't meditate because her "hed was icky"
Crystal and I both kinda looked at each other and tried to think of a way to get her to join with the rest of the kids, but it was soon when Crystal face just lit up, and brought my ear over for some whisperin'..^^; this is when she told me to stand behind Ari with the bubble stuff.. And just take her lead when she said. Of course, I didn't have any idea of what she was talking about until Crystal tried figuring out ways to get the icky-ness out of Ari's head.
And it was fun! *snicker* Really fun, you see, Crystal had Ari sit down, and I said something like "Oh.. I'm going to go uh, get some covers!" and made noises with my feet like I was walking away. Which by fact, I was really just standing behind Ari, with a bottle full of bubbles..
Now Crystal started saying things like "Well Ari, I think I have a way to get the icky out of your head there!" then after said, "but you can't tell anyone.. it's a secret, JUST for occasions like this one!" It was at that point I got the hint, and started getting some bubbles ready..
"Now Ari, I want you to think of only good thoughts, okay? And you have to do it three times so then all the bad thoughts will be out of your head, and it won't feel so icky!". Ari took the initiative to start thinking, and thats when I started blowing bubbles from behind her head! When Ari saw the bubbles, she looked up and at Crystal, and in an awe she said "What are those bubbles doing dere!" It was up to Crystal to think up something before Ari turned around and saw me, so real quickly she goes "Oh, didn't I tell you? Those are all the bad thoughts coming out of your head!" before Ari could say anything, Crystal goes, "Now don't stop, you still need to do that 2 more times!"
I think you know where that leads on. After they were done, Crystal set Ari with the other kids, and I 'came back from getting covers', trying to sound innocent by saying "Oh! You've finally joined with the other kids!". Heheh, then Crystal said something like "Oh, she was sure ready after we got the bad- thoughts out of her head, isn't that right Ari?" Boy, you should've seen Ari-- she was so exicted, bouncy, and just tripping over her own words trying to explain how the bubbles came out of her head! It was cute, really.. We had to settle her down though, but.. It was just one of those moments where you kinda get half as excited as the kid because THEY'RE excited! ^^;
After that.. well, Crystal and I just talked. As usual. I really do enjoy conversation with her, really-- although, I could be spared those weird silences we have whenever I happen to get lost looking in her... eyes. >.> <.<
anyways, in about another hour Crystal and I have to go to the airport to meet up with
the son family, and give them all sorts of 'WELCOME BACK's! And when they DO get back.. Pan can help finish up the decorations! (although they're nearly done, I figure she can do a better job of asorting things than I can! ^^;)
Later!
