This is from a mailing list I'm on. A group of friends and I did this a few year ago and had a great time. Bring umbrellas to block out the sun (or rain), then afterward enjoy the rest of the day at any of the museums. Also be sure to bring a camera if you enjoy photographing lovely buildings and public art.

Many cat and dog foods were recalled recently due to ingredients in them causing renal failure.

Go to www.menufoods.com/recall to see if your pets' food is affected. Many, many brands are listed, so please check through the list to see if your brand is on there. You can probably take the food back to the shop or vet where you purchased it.

The SPCA has brought back their neuter for a nickel program which is going to be on 02/27/07, but you need to start making appointments NOW.
