I got the implication, but know that only DEVO fans really understand them so don't take offense at anything anyone says about them. I grew up with people pointing at me and laughing, so really, you can poke fun at something I like all you want. Just don't be outright mean and we're cool, I had enough of that in junior high. ;)

I didn't say I didn't like them. Boy band isn't exactly a term of contempt... I have some JPop on my iPod, including some japanese boy bands...

But i think it would be hilarious if Devo was broken down like a boy band, with "boy band bios" for the members...

See, here's where talking on teh intarwebs loses all meaning due to lack of tone & inflection. You're making much more sense now. ;) I agree, were they to pose (as 50-60-somethings) as a Boy Band for 16 Magazine (or whatever took its place)... now THAT would be hilarious.

(I have no clue who JPop is, and it was just yesterday that I found out who this Lady GaGa character is. Clearly I'm not keeping up with pop music anymore. Heh.)
