A note from an email list I'm on. A dear friend of mine adopted a charming girl cat from KittiCo, who had a setup at a cat show we went to.

KittiCo Cat Rescue: An All Volunteer Non-Profit No-Kill Organization Dedicated to Helping Stray and Feral Cats

Our Mission:

• To provide care including veterinary care, food and shelter for unwanted, abandoned, and feral cats in Dallas, and its surrounding communities;
• To provide an adoption/placement service for adoptable, homeless felines;
• To help reduce the stray/feral cat population of Dallas, and its surrounding communities;
• To educate the public on the principles of responsible pet ownership, the prevention of cruelty to animals, and pet abandonment.

Please visit our FAQ page before contacting us, as you may find the answer to your question/issue there.

KittiCo will spay or neuter any cat, feral or not. They will spay pregnant females up to the date of delivery (not all vets will) and the charge is minimal (donation only if they're feral). For more information, check out the Web site at http://www.kittico.org or call 214-826-6903.

KittiCo's expenses run between $30 and $40 per cat, so donations are always welcome. Thanks! Remember, Don't Litter!!
