[OPTION A: audio]

[The song that comes over the communicator lasts for a few minutes, slow and strangely imperial. Anyone who knows Link would probably be able to tell that he's pleased about things returning to their natural order from this song... and perhaps that he's a bit nostalgic, too ( Read more... )

[Yup, she'll be listening to the song, it was so pretty; however she can't pinpoint what instrument he's using. It doesn't sound like a flute...maybe? Ummm....]

What kind of instrument are you using?

[Link switches to video, smiles at the camera, and then holds up his ocarina.]

[She'll return his smile with a shy one, but it won't take long for the ocarina to catch her attention.]

Oh! [Hasn't she seen a picture of an instrument just like that one at school before?] It looks so pretty. Is blue your favorite color?

Blue's nice. I like green better, though. [He jerks the thumb of his free hand towards his hat.]

[That answer will get her to giggle.]

Niha! I should have noticed. You're shirt is also green. Blue is my favorite color. It reminds me of the sky and the ocean. [Then she wonders...] Why do you like green, by the way? Does it remind you of something of home?

I grew up in the forest so... it kind of reminds me of my best friend. And my father.

[The Great Deku Tree was his adoptive father, after all...]

Your best friend? [She can't help feel a little curious about it.] Do a lot of people live in the forest back in your world?

No, not a lot! Just the Kokiri and the Skull Kids, really. And me, but I thought I was a Kokiri for years...

A Kokiri? Is that some sort of fairy? [You might want to explain that too. Although, you got to admit that the word does sound fairy-ish.] Are the Skull Kids a club of sorts?

[So many questions to ask. She can't help feel curious about your world now.]

[He shakes his head.]

Kokiri are the children of the forest, but they have fairies - which aren't anything like the faeries here. And the Skullkids were kids who got lost in the Lost Woods, which are right beside the Kokiri Forest.
