In this world, I see so much that I wish I could change. I just read about an 11 year old boy named Brenden who died from leukemia. His final wish was to feed the homeless during the last 2 weeks his doctors gave him. So far his mission has led others to feed thousands of homeless people and he recently passed last Friday. How can this happen to an 11 year old boy that has nothing but generosity to give in his last moments of life??? Why does this happen in our world???
I want to change this. I have seen my share of Earth's cruel nature.
I am ready to dedicate my life in saving these people that suffer from disease. I am ready to make change in this world. If I have to spend 15 years in school just to save one life, then those 15 years were the best investment I could have ever made. I want my life to make an impact in humanity. I want to research these diseases that plague our world and learn as much as I can about them. Recently, I changed my college major over to microbiology so I can have more opportunity to do so in class and in the lab. It's time that I not only aid in curing individuals, but aid in curing the world.
