Great Strides Progress
I'm making progress! Despite the image snafu and various other fun things, I pulled down the LJ auctions this morning and have notified all of the winners and sent out invoices to those that I could. Altogether the second set of auctions raised $342! So far, between donations to our team, team members getting donations & the two sets of auctions, we've raised close to $1,600. That's awesome and way beyond what I expected.
Tonight I've been preparing invoices, updating spreadsheets and the fun behind the scenes stuff that takes forever. I also FINALLY ordered our team t-shirts :D

I made the design myself. I had a five color version that is much closer to our Team Cassiebug logo you see plastered all over the teamcassiebug LJ pages, but that seemed a bit girly. We've got guys on our team as well and I'd like them to at least feel semi-comfortable wearing their shirts, LOL. So, I settled on a two color design - which works out well because with a bulk discount they were only around $10 each. Not shabby. The link above is to a version of the shirt on Custom Ink singles so if anyone really likes the design you can order one there (ordered in singles they cost $20) ... although, honestly, wait till after the 17th and I may have a couple spare shirts to hand out.
Now to start on all those tax receipts for donations and the thank you notes ...
