Hey! Brooke!

How do you remember us getting back from the lighthouse? I remember that Ella found a rowboat and we managed to row back, but Ella says I had a signal mirror or something and we got a fishing boat, and Katsuragi-kun said something really dumb about a flare and a hot air balloon! Everyone's been having conflicting reports about this matter, so I need you to properly corroborate the truth. Quick, okay!

That's strange, I don't remember any of the following being how we managed to get back. I remember getting hit in the head with a brick... and then there was this laughter... and then... hmm... Perhaps I simply ran home? I have had a tendency to walk on run on water with my super light weight, but how on earth did the rest of you get back if I did? Hmmm... No... wait... I think I remember there being rocking on a boat... was it rocking like swaying? Or was it rocking like guitar playing?

... I don't know if I really know what happened that night...

[Clearly, Brooke is not all there after the events that transpired]

...Huh.

This is a real mystery, unlike those dumb ghosts! Who could possibly have altered our memories back on shore?!

Maybe it was aliens!

...Maybe, but we need proof. We need to find out what really happened...!

Perhaps we should return to... where we had been dropped off! There might be some clues there as to how we made it back.

Huh... Well... Actually, I don't remember that part of it... I guess it must have been the beach, but I don't really remember it clearly beyond waking up in my bed.

Oh... I thought you might know... oh dear... it's such a mystery that there doesn't even seem to be any way to find clues. Whatever did this, must be a pretty powerful being to have altered our memories so.

It's totally unforgivable. Whoever did this is our mortal enemy!

Are you sure about that? If you think about it, wouldn't it have been simpler to simply kill us? Perhaps whoever did this wanted to let us live, but there was something it did not want us to know. It might not be a completely evil force, but that's not to say it's a force of good either.

...They may have their deep, dark reasons for wanting us alive for the time being, but maybe they just weren't able to kill us! Maybe all they could do was try to fool us with these weird memories.

Whatever the reason may be, it's most likely too soon to say what their true motives are.

Well, that's way too sensible of a response for a true brigadier. Speculation is the lifeblood of our financial markets, you know! It's also welcome in situations like this!

You're right! What was I thinking?

We should gather the others together to so that they can help us come up with some more theories on what whatever did this was planning.

But what if...

[Slams a table.]

...It was one of us?!
