Kelli has returned from NYC!!! After getting over my initial fear of being in a big city and having to figure out which subway train to get on... I had a great time!!
I ........did an internship at the research library (the one with the lions in front from Ghostbusters!)
.....visited a couple branch libraries, one on Staten Island (I saw the Statue of Liberty!!) and another one where I saw the original Winnie the Pooh!!
......went to the Met, Central Park, saw the Frick Collection and a phenomenal pianist
.......saw Spamalot with Clay Aiken as "Brave Sir Robin" (imagine that!)
.......heard the USO (University Symphony Orchestra) from U of M perform at Carnegie Hall!
.......went to the opening of an exhibit on Tony Award Winning Songwriters at the Performing Arts Library
.......saw Columbia U, Rockefeller Center, and a bit of NYU
......went to mass at St. Patrick's cathedral
......met up with my friend Megan
and best of all....... I discovered Wizard Rock!!!
