Don't Take Our Space
Pulled in to a small parking lot where the Indian grocer nearest to us is located. Big van is pulled across TWO handicapped spaces. Seriously, TWO. Diagonally. I didn't see them when I got out so I located a piece of paper in my purse and started writing down their lic #. OH MY GOD you'd have thought I was attacking their children. "Are you writing us up?" this lady asks. YES I AM. I then get to hear all about their tragic minor fender bender, how they have a child in the car yadda yadda yadda, and I am heartless. I point out the non-handicapped spaces just behind them and that they could take up ONE space instead of two. (Hell I parked in a non-handicapped space right next to them.) Whatever, people, there are never enough handicapped spaces in any given lot, never, so don't take up a space if you can possibly avoid it even for your fender bender.
