Time to Stop Arguing and DO Something
I don't have the heart today to read through the usual debates over gun rights vs control or mental health access or even the basic common sense argument that we should stop releasing shooters' names to the public because nothing is ever done and that has laid the groundwork for today's slaughter of children. Yes people kill and the right kind of guns and ammo clips makes it possible for them to kill a lot of people very quickly and lack of good mental health care leads some people to pick up a gun when they otherwise wouldn't and some are emboldened by the idea that they will get some fame. We know all of these things and we do nothing as a society to address them sufficiently and reduce or even prevent future massacres. That's on us.
