Say it loud: I'm Bi and I'm Proud!
While I think it's pretty hard to miss the big pink triangle on my shirt, perhaps some don't know what it means. So, today is the {inter}national coming out day and in case you don't already know by now, I'm bisexual.
Some get confused by monogamous bisexuals. How can we be both bisexual and monogamous? Well, how can a heterosexual be both monogamous and still attracted to other people of the opposite gender? They feel the attraction and choose not to act on it. I would say that bisexuality means that I CAN be attracted and feel romantic feelings for people of either gender (or any shade thereof) but I don't HAVE to have sexual or romantic relationships with a member of each gender at the same time. :)
